Job Description:
A company is looking for a Configuration/Release Manager to
support the Department of Veterans Affairs in a remote
capacity.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement configuration management strategies for
software solutions
Maintain and manage the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
and track software configurations
Collaborate with teams to define and document software build,
deployment, and release processes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science,
Engineering, or equivalent discipline
8+ years of experience in configuration management and software
development lifecycle
Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and configuration
management tools (Ansible, Jenkins)
Experience in Agile and DevOps environments, including familiarity
with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure)
Ability to obtain a government clearance
