Job Description:
Volt is immediately hiring for Inventory Technician in Gardena,
CA.As a Inventory Technician you will:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, locations, and
movements within the warehouse.
- Thoroughly document all inventory transactions and
activities.
- Coordinate the movement of inventory between different
locations or departments, ensuring proper documentation and
tracking.
- Manage the receiving of incoming shipments, verifying their
accuracy and completeness.
- Inspect received items regularly to ensure they meet quality
standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular cycle counts to reconcile physical inventory
with recorded levels, addressing discrepancies.
- Fulfill internal inventory requests accurately and in a timely
manner.
- Monitor inventory levels to initiate replenishments and
reorders to ensure stock availability.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.This is a
full-time opportunity Monday - FridayPay range $18-$24 per hour The
ideal candidate will have:
- At least 1 year of experience working in inventory management,
stock transfers, or related tasks within a warehouse
environment.
- Preferred; forklift operation experience, inventory management
software.
- Analytical thinking to identify and resolve inventory
discrepancies and variances.
- A willingness to adapt and manage time efficiently to meet
inventory management deadlines and operational requirements.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse
and effectively manage inventory locations.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations, including navigating
an ERP system for work orders.
- Problem-solving skills to address issues in inventory processes
and suggest improvements.
- Collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams and
meet inventory needs.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, stand for extended
periods, and maneuver comfortably in tight spaces.*Pay range
