As a Hot Inspector you will:

Inspect hot forged steel bars, billets, ingots and parts to ensure conformance to specifications by performing the following duties:

Follow safe work practices, including safety rules and regulations
Checks with forge department production schedule and travelers to determine which forging operation requires hot inspection to determine dimensions, mismatch allowance and document.
Inspect parts and check against blueprint using measuring devices, tape, steel rule, calipers and micrometers.
Complete daily production reports
Work with forge team

The ideal candidate will have:

HS Diploma/GED 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training
Mathematical Skills
Critical thinking skills
Work in extreme heat and loud noise environment

This is a Full-Time Opportunity.

2nd shift

Pay Rate: $19-32/hr

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
