Job Description:
A company is looking for a Linux Engineer I to support managed
services customers in a 24x7 operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide quality customer service and manage incoming customer
requests
Plan, install, and support managed customer Linux environments
while ensuring timely incident resolution
Collaborate with operations teams to resolve service incidents and
improve existing systems
Required Qualifications
Technical training in Information Technology, engineering, computer
science, or equivalent experience
1 year of experience managing enterprise Linux environments
Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8 or higher and
Ubuntu 20.04 LTS or higher
Proficiency in one or more Linux/UNIX specific scripting
languages
Basic understanding of OS side networking and cloud providers like
Azure and AWS
