  • Manage production engineering and operations team on projects, including measuring, monitoring, and analyzing production processes, operations, and equipment.
  • Drive process yield improvement and sustaining activities.
  • Develop and direct engineering team to implement new production processes to improve overall quality of manufactured products.
  • Identify, plan and execute projects to achieve capacity, cost, yield, reliability, and/or cycle time improvements.
  • Drive and support cross-functional teams to source and acquire equipment as needed by new process developments.
  • Ensure correct documentation of equipment, processes, and methods in accordance with ISO standards with process engineers.
  • Review detailed work instructions provided by process engineers.
  • Work with process engineers to train employees on newly implemented processes and equipment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects with the production team.
  • Coordinate with automation team on development and refinement of a preventative maintenance program.
  • Other related duties as required.What You Will Need to Have
    • Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or in a closely related field, plus 5 years of work experience as an engineer in a manufacturing environment or in a closely related occupation.
    • Experience with CAD/CAE drawings including machine drawings and electrical schematics.
    • Experience with data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, MATLAB, R, Python, or JMP.
    • Knowledge of measurement tools and equipment such as Vernier Calipers, vision systems, and confocal laser measuring instrument.
    • Experience using analytical software tools such as JMP required.
    • Programming experience in Python, JMP, Kibana, PowerBI. Knowledge of optical analysis system and knowledge of shop floor control, ERP, and accounting software system arcature.
    • Experience using statistical methods for yield improvement and process stability (Cp/CpK / Pareto Analysis / DOE / SPC).
    • Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education.
