looking for an experienced DevSecOps engineer with leadership
experience to manage a team responsible for developing the
automated pipelines for data center/cloud environments and support
automated build, test and release deployments.Key Roles and
Responsibilities:
- Design, write and deliver Infrastructure as Code software to
improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of
the network
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Cloud Native
development
- Build automated DevOps pipelines using tools like GitLab
- Develop jobs for the deployment of various artifacts that
constitute an application on a container-based environment such as
Docker
- Participate in development of advanced CI / CD processes to
support deployments
- Participate in design and architecture discussions and build
environments using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and
configuration management tools like Ansible
- Work extensively to deploy applications on Kubernetes clusters
in our on-premises cloud environment
- Automate repetitive tasks to eliminate toil and drive
consistency + repeatability
- Actively participate in incident response and root-cause
analysis, support a blameless post-mortems cultureBAE Systems

collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due
to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed
full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at
a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.#SWSDRequired Education,
Experience, & Skills
- Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance and
ability to obtain SCI clearance
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering/technical discipline
and 6 to 8+ years of relevant experience
- Experience using DevSecOps tools such as GitLab, GitOps,
Bitbucket, CI/CD Pipelines, Docker, Fortify, Sonarqube,
Chef/Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, Jenkins
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration/management
tools
- Understanding of AWS cloud services
- Experience working with appropriate scripting languages and
operating systems software (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git
- Experience with Agile development and issue tracking systems,
such as JIRA
- Experience with UNIX and/or Linux
- Experience leading a team of cross functional engineers to
design and deploy scalable, highly available, secure cloud
infrastructure that supports various applications and
workloads.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skillsPreferred
Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science
- Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance
- Security+ 8570 certification
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
- AWS or similar Cloud Provider Experience
- Solid understanding of Message Service NATS, Kafka, Redis
- Strong Linux and Networking background
- Software development experience with C++/JavaPay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
