And you can, too.BAE Systems is looking for an experienced DevSecOps engineer with leadership experience to manage a team responsible for developing the automated pipelines for data center/cloud environments and support automated build, test and release deployments.Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, write and deliver Infrastructure as Code software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of the network
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Cloud Native development
• Build automated DevOps pipelines using tools like GitLab
• Develop jobs for the deployment of various artifacts that constitute an application on a container-based environment such as Docker
• Participate in development of advanced CI / CD processes to support deployments
• Participate in design and architecture discussions and build environments using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible
• Work extensively to deploy applications on Kubernetes clusters in our on-premises cloud environment
• Automate repetitive tasks to eliminate toil and drive consistency + repeatability

    • Must be a US Citizen with an active Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain SCI clearance
    • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering/technical discipline and 6 to 8+ years of relevant experience
    • Experience using DevSecOps tools such as GitLab, GitOps, Bitbucket, CI/CD Pipelines, Docker, Fortify, Sonarqube, Chef/Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, Jenkins
    • Experience with Docker and container orchestration/management tools
    • Understanding of AWS cloud services
    • Experience working with appropriate scripting languages and operating systems software (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
    • Experience with version control systems, such as Git
    • Experience with Agile development and issue tracking systems, such as JIRA
    • Experience with UNIX and/or Linux
    • Experience leading a team of cross functional engineers to design and deploy scalable, highly available, secure cloud infrastructure that supports various applications and workloads.

      • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science
      • Active Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance
      • Security+ 8570 certification
      • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
      • Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
      • AWS or similar Cloud Provider Experience
      • Solid understanding of Message Service NATS, Kafka, Redis
      • Strong Linux and Networking background
      • Software development experience with C++/JavaPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
